Reporting Criteria
Report conditions that are significant, safely observed, and useful to the National Weather Service or local emergency partners. Avoid placing yourself in danger to obtain a report.
- Tornado, funnel cloud, wall cloud, or rotating lowering
- Wind damage, measured severe wind, or trees/power lines down
- Flash flooding, roads covered by water, or water entering structures
- Hail, especially quarter size or larger
- Rainfall totals when requested or when flooding is occurring
- Significant winter weather impacts, icing, or hazardous travel conditions
